NATO, Ukraine agree to set up new trust fund on demining

BRUSSELS. June 25 (Interfax) - NATO intends to beef up its practical assistance to Ukraine.

Ukraine and NATO have agreed to create a new trust fund on demining and countering improvised explosive devices, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference in Brussels, after a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission.

He did not provide further details.

Stoltenberg said also that many NATO member countries were supporting Ukraine on the bilateral level.
