Russia has no aggressive plans - Putin

MOSCOW. June 25 (Interfax) - Russia has no intention of posing a threat to any other countries and remains committed to settling any disputes by political methods, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

"We do not and cannot have any aggressive plans. We are not threatening anyone and we seek to resolve any disputes exclusively by political methods and with respect toward international law and the interests of other countries," Putin said at a reception in honor of graduates of military academies.

"Russia is open to the world and wants to strengthen its cooperation and partnership with all those who are ready for this," he added.
