Agreement on removal of smaller than 100mm weapons could be reached before weekend - Pushilin

DONETSK. June 26 (Interfax) - A new agreement over the removal of weapons of a caliber smaller than 100mm from the dividing line could be signed before the end of the week, says Denis Pushilin, an authorized representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.

"We are now deciding the question of technical details. The latest aspects are discussed literally every day. If that is done, it means [the signing] will take place before the end of the week," Pushilin said, according to the Donetsk News Agency.

The document could also be signed at a Contact Group session in Minsk, the DPR authorized representative said.

Pushilin also said that efforts are underway to decide who will sign the new agreement. "Another important issue is the signing format, who will sign the document," he said.
