Primakov could find worthy way out of most difficult situation - Shoigu

MOSCOW. June 26 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Minister, Army Gen. Sergei Shoigu, has expressed his condolences to the relatives and loved ones of Yevgeny Primakov.

"A death has occurred of an outstanding man, a talented diplomat, a prominent scientist, an honest and uncompromising politician who gave his ability and expertise for the benefit of our Fatherland. With his hard work, energy and ability to find a worthy exit from a most difficult situation, Yevgeny Maximovich earned high respect both in Russia and abroad," a spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry said in a condolence message released on Friday.

The minister said that friends, relatives and loved ones - "everyone who knew him - will always remember Yevgeny Maximovich as a true patriot of his country," the spokesperson said.

"I sincerely sympathize with your grief and share the burden of the irreplaceable loss," said the condolence message obtained by Interfax-AVN on Friday.
