Russian deputy foreign minister meets bilaterally with P5+1, Iranian diplomats during Vienna talks

MOSCOW. June 29 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov met with a number of diplomats during negotiations on settling the problem of the Iranian nuclear program at the level of political directors in Vienna between the P5+1 group of world powers and Iranian officials with the EU's participation.

"Sergei Ryabkov had separate meetings with Iranian Deputy Foreign Ministers Abbas Araghchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman, EU External Action Service Deputy Secretary General Helga Schmid, Chinese Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna Cheng Jingye, and also the political directors of the foreign ministries of EU3 (the United Kingdom, Germany, and France), Simon Gass, Hans-Dieter Lucas, and Nicolas de Riviere," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement available on its website.

The negotiations took place in Vienna on June 25-26.
