Luhansk People's Republic insists on swapping prisoners with Ukraine in 'all for all' format

LUHANSK. June 29 (Interfax) - Authorities of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) will demand that prisoners are exchanged in 'all-for-all' format, LPR head Igor Plotnitsky said.

"Ukraine insists that the exchange is carried out according to the number of prisoners being held, while we want to exchange all for all," Plotnitsky said at a briefing on Monday.

According to Plotnitsky, Ukraine does not always follow the agreements in exchanging prisoners.

"Ukraine gives as prisoners absolutely different people than those we have declared. Often these are just people, who were caught and who are in trouble there," he said.
