DONETSK. June 30 (Interfax) - The military command of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has refuted Ukrainian media reports alleging large militia casualties in the latest clashes in Donbas.
"It is impossible to conceal such facts. Hospitals of the republic would have been packed in the case of such casualties. This is impossible," senior official of the DPR Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin has told reporters.
A number of Ukrainian media outlets said earlier that the militia had lost 400 men and that another 300 were wounded.
