MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - The expectations of foreign leaders, who want to secure a change of power in Russia through adopting sanctions, are failing, the Russian Foreign Ministry has said.
"Although many foreign leaders claim that the goal of sanctions is to make Russia change its policy, in fact, the dream of some of them, albeit an elusive one, if truth be told, is to secure a change of power. But I think that their hopes and euphoria have receded. Calculations that Russia would change its independent policy have failed and are failing today," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vasily Nebenzia told Interfax.
