MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry believes that it will be the right decision to adopt a law on 'undesirable' foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
"In our opinion, passing a law on undesirable organizations is, beyond any doubt, a step in the right direction," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said in the Federation Council on Friday.
This measure will "substantially develop and complement the 'foreign agent' law adopted in 2012," he said.
"But this work cannot be completed in one day. Lengthy analysis and consultations will be required," he added.
