Russia worried about Kyiv's unwillingness to coordinate local elections procedure with Donetsk, Luhansk - Lavrov (Part 2)

MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - Moscow is profoundly concerned about the inability of the Kyiv authorities to coordinate local election modalities with Donetsk and Luhansk, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

"The Russian side is profoundly concerned about the inability and unwillingness of Kyiv to fulfill its obligation to coordinate with Donetsk and Luhansk the modality of local elections and the inability to involve representatives of the self-proclaimed republics in the elaboration of a new constitution," he said at a press conference after a meeting with his Luxembourg counterpart Jean Asselborn.

Lavrov said that a draft of the Ukrainian constitution had been prepared by Kyiv without the participation of representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
