TBILISI. July 8 (Interfax) - The opening ceremony of the Agile Spirit 2015 international military exercises involving five NATO member-states will take place on the parade ground of the 4th Mechanized Brigade in Vaziani, Georgia, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
Taking part in the ceremony will be the top officials from the Georgian Defense Ministry and the armed forces staff.
Taking part in the exercises, which have been planned within the framework of the Georgia-NATO package, will be the personnel of the 42nd Battalion of the 4th Mechanized Brigade of the Georgian armed forces and up to 220 U.S. marines. Military units from Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, and Latvia will also be involved in the maneuvers, which will last until July 22.
