MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk people's republic (DPR) has denied information on a possible "major swap in captives" with the Ukrainian government forces within the next few days.
"We are not planning any swap so far," DPR human rights commissioner Darya Morozova told Interfax.
Media had reported earlier on Thursday that the parties could swap captives soon on the all-for-all basis.
Yury Tandit, a negotiator from the Ukrainian Security Service's hostage liberation facilitation center, told Interfax on Thursday that a swap in captives between Ukrainian government forces and the militia under clause 6 of the Minsk agreements would take place within days or even hours.
Morozova said to Interfax in commenting on this information that Tandit "has been suspended from the negotiating process for incorrect behavior and is not authorized to make statements on swaps."
"Only Viktor Medvedchuk is authorized to make such statements, and all the rest is rubbish," she said.
