BISHKEK. Aug 20 (Interfax) - The Kyrgyz government's decision terminating Kyrgyzstan's May 19, 1993 agreement with the United States on Cooperation to Facilitate the Provision of Assistance came into force on August 20, a spokesman for the Kyrgyz government's office told Interfax on Thursday.
A resolution to terminate this Kyrgyz-U.S. agreement was signed on July 21, 2015, but the document said that the accord would be actually terminated on August 20, the spokesman said.
In this context, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry was instructed to notify the U.S. authorities of the document's termination in accordance with the established procedure.
