DONETSK. Aug 25 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue building up its forces for an offensive; intelligence units of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have registered equipment movements, DPR deputy defense minister Eduard Basurin said.
"Sukha Balka and Soloviove are the howitzer artillery positions; in the Verkhniotoretske district, there is an ammunition depot on the grounds of a grain storage facility; and west of Novhorodivka, there are up to 24 D-30 howitzers with a 120-millimeter caliber. And a convoy of tanks and five BMP infantry fighting vehicles were seen moving towards Avdiivka," Basurin told reporters.
"Over the past week, the Ukrainian forces violated the truce 201 times. Over the past week they launched 520 rocket shells, 422 artillery shells, 116 tank shells and 581 mines against the DPR," he said.
