MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax-AVN) - Over 8,000 Russian and Belarusian servicemen and about 400 pieces of military hardware will be involved in the joint operational exercises Union Shield 2015 to be conducted from September 10 to 16, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
"In particular, about 80 attack, fighter, army, and military transport planes and helicopters are to be involved to perform training missions," the Western Military District press service said in a report shared with Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.
