MOSCOW. Sept 7 (Interfax-AVN) - The next adjustment of the International Space Station (ISS) orbit is due in the middle of September, a source in the rocket and space industry told Interfax-AVN on Monday.
"The maneuver is due to be performed on September 14 with burns of the Zvezda module engines," the source said.
The station will be given an impetus of 2.5 meters per second, and the average height of its orbit will grow by more than four kilometers. "The purpose of this maneuver is a four-orbit approach of the Progress M-29M resupply ship, which is due to be launched on October 1, to the ISS," the source said.
