Ukrainian Radical Party parliamentarian Mosiychuk remanded in custody for two months

KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax) - Radical Party parliamentarian Ihor Mosiychuk has been remanded in custody for 60 days, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has ruled.

The ruling was announced by a judge after long deliberation in the adjacent room, an Interfax correspondent reported on Friday evening.

The prosecutor had requested a two-month detention for Mosiychuk because he could abscond, harass witnesses and poses public danger.

Meanwhile, Mosiychuk's defense had asked for a release on bail or any other alternative to incarceration.
