German ambassador expecting 'Normandy Four' summit to make breakthrough (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Sept 28 (Interfax) - German Ambassador to Moscow Rudiger von Fritsch is hoping for a breakthrough in the Ukraine peace process after the 'Normandy Four' summit due in Paris on October 2.

"Perhaps the situation that has taken shape this week can yield a breakthrough: as you know, the heads of states participating in the Normandy Format will meet in Paris on October 2," von Fritsch told reporters at a press conference on Monday.

"We are passing through a stage of intensive negotiations about this and about preparations for this meeting both in Kyiv and here," he added.
