Lavrov, Kerry to hold third meeting in New York - source

NEW YORK. Sept 30 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will meet for the third time on the UN General Assembly session's sidelines, a source in the Russian delegation has told reporters.

"A meeting with the U.S. secretary of state is scheduled for September 30. That would be their third meeting on the sidelines of the General Assembly session in New York," he said.

Lavrov and Kerry have already met twice in New York to discuss the situation in Syria. Kerry made a number of statements regarding a center created in Baghdad at the Russian initiative to coordinate the fight against ISIL and the Ukraine situation.
