MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - The Kremlin believes that Ankara cannot help but be concerned about the futile operations of the U.S.-led coalition in Syria, which have led to the expansion of the territory controlled by ISIL.
"Let me remind you that before the Russian Armed Forces began its operation to support the Syrian army, the U.S.-lead coalition had been delivering strikes on positions named as ISIL positions for a long period of time, more than a year, but not just failed to reduce the area controlled by that and other territories organizations; on the contrary, that area grew manifold in the recent year," Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"This is destabilizing Syria and is certainly posing a threat to the Turkish Republic," he said.
