MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - Moscow and Ankara are establishing contact between their defense ministries in order to interact in the Syria situation, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov has said.
"Contacts are being established between our defense ministries in connection with the ongoing events in Syria," he said at a conference dedicated to bolstering partnership between Russia and Turkey. The conference was organized by the Russian International Affairs Council.
"Let me stress once again that our key task is to fight ISIL and other terrorist groups," he said.
