Ankara hopes Russian planes operating in Syria will not violate Turkish airspace ever again (Part 2)

MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - Ankara is hopeful that no violations of Turkish airspace by Russian air force planes operating in Syria will ever happen again, Turkey's Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Kemal Aydin told a conference in Moscow on Thursday.

"Violations of our airspace do not match the spirit of our bilateral relations that have been observed in recent years. I hope that such incidents will not be repeated in the future," he said.

The Turkish diplomat also expressed hope that "we will return to cooperation aimed at genuine interaction."

"All necessary steps will be taken to achieve this and we sincerely believe in this because we concentrate not only on issues on which we differ, but also on our common interests and joint projects that bring profit to us," he added.
