MINSK. Oct 28 (Interfax) - The parties to conflict in eastern Ukraine have agreed on a swap of prisoners at the meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk, OSCE envoy Martin Sajdik told reporters.
The agreement has been reached on the release of eleven people from Ukraine and nine from some areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the release will take place on October 29, Sajdik said.
The prisoner exchange will be held in the presence of representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross.
Sajdik called on the conflicting parties to swiftly release all prisoners.
