DONETSK. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic is concerned about the resumption of military action and blames provocations on Ukrainian battalions.
"I link all aggravation to the presence and increase of the number of battalions, which are poorly managed by Kyiv. That's where provocations are coming from. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean that Ukraine bears no responsibility," DPR envoy Denis Pushilin told reporters on Sunday.
He recalled that the issue will be discussed in Minsk on November 17. "We will raise this issue on Tuesday, it's an acute issue," he said.
"Full-fledged military action can well begin due to such provocations, which we don't want," Pushilin said.
"We are also hearing the fuelling of tensions by the Ukrainian media, and they are reporting attacks and violations that in reality don't exist. Yes, the situation has indeed aggravated, but they are fueling tensions and they are doing it deliberately, one should pay attention to that, too," Pushilin said.
