KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The militia opened fire 16 times in Donbas, including five times against Ukrainian positions, the press center for the military operation reported on Monday.
"Since Sunday evening, mercenaries opened fire 16 times, including five times directly on our positions," the press center reported on Facebook on Monday morning.
The report stated that the militia continued targeted sporadic fire on Ukrainian positions on the Donetsk, Luhansk and Mariupol tracks in the period between 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday morning.
According to the press center, the militia "opened prevocational fire in the direction of Novgorodsky, Mariyinka, Opytne, Piski and Anviyivka" from grenade launchers and firearms. "At the same time, the occupants opened targeted fire from mortars, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine-guns and firearms on Novotoshkivske and Shyrokyne," the press center has reported.
