MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Russia and the West have understanding of the need for interaction in the fight against international terrorism, Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov said.
"There is understanding of the need for such interaction," Peskov said, responding to a question from journalists about the possibility of a joint fight by Russia and the West against international terrorism.
Peskov said that "reaching an agreement between Russia and the West is totally impossible." "Because the concept of the West doesn't exist: every country has its position, its attitude to various segments of the counterterrorism issue. If you think that the West is 100% united in its approaches, you are wrong," he said.
