MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - No progress has been made on the draft Russian resolution calling for a united fight against terrorism, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov has said.
"Unfortunately, there is no progress. We have proposed an idea and an appropriate text but we have failed to coordinate the content of this resolution with our partners," he told reporters.
"This resolution is practically not being discussed," he said.
Russia proposed the resolution declaring the need for pooled efforts in the fight against terrorism in the context of the Middle East events at a ministerial conference of the UN Security Council in September.
"No practical work is being done on it," Gatilov said.
