MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The State Duma will release a statement on Tuesday in connection with the recent terror attacks in Paris, the State Duma Council decided at its meeting on Monday. It thus backed the proposal of the International Affairs Committee, State Duma Vice-Speaker Igor Lebedev (the Liberal Democratic Party) told Interfax.
"The final text of the draft statement approved by all factions will be ready by the end of Tuesday," he said.
International Affairs Committee Chairman Alexei Pushkov (United Russia) told Interfax earlier that the draft statement would not only extend condolences and express solidarity with the people of France but would also "present political opinions on underlying causes of these terror attacks."
