MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and British Prime Minister David Cameron did not address the issue of the UK joining the military operation against ISIL in Syria, Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov said.
"The issue of any British involvement was not discussed in any way, at all," Peskov told reporters on Monday after being asked to comment on counterterrorism issues addressed at the meeting between Putin and Cameron.
He specified that the meeting "generally addressed the situation in Syria and the prospects of political settlement" in the country.
