DPR says no more than 20 captured Ukrainian personnel remain in its territory

MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) says no more than 20 captured Ukrainian personnel remain in its territory and that no detentions are being made.

"No more than 20 detainees remain in our territory. We are not capturing any new people, that is, their number is not increasing," DPR ombudsman Darya Morozova told Interfax.

Morozova said she has information that Kyiv "is holding some 1,500 captured militiamen and supporters of the independence of the DPR and LPR."

"Detentions continue in Ukraine, and the number of prisoners held by them is constantly increasing," Morozova said.
