Ukraine Contact Group political subgroup discusses OSCE's elections document, lifting of Donbas economic blockade in Minsk

DONETSK. Nov 17 (Interfax) - The political subgroup within the trilateral Contact Group for Ukraine has started its talks in the Belarusian capital Minsk, the press service for the chief negotiator of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, has said.

"The subgroup intends to discuss a working document of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) concerning elections, as well as agree upon changes to Ukraine's Constitution, the cancellation of the 'anti-terrorist operation' regime, the lifting of the economic blockade and the enactment of Ukraine's law on the unacceptability of criminal and administrative prosecution, as well as a law on special self-governance arrangements for Donbas," the press service was quoted as saying by the Donetsk news agency.

The self-proclaimed republic's negotiators also plan to again insist on introducing guidelines for talks within the subgroup "in order to be able to document all agreements and set timeframes for implementing them," the press service said.
