MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax) - Russian parliamentarians have called for terrorism to be proclaimed a crime that has no statute of limitations.
A joint resolution adopted by both chambers of Russia's parliament, the Federation Council and the State Duma, at their joint session on Friday reaffirms the need to "seek the harmonization of international law and national legislations in the issue of preventing and suppressing terrorism. Terrorism should be declared a crime without a statute of limitations and should entail tough punishment in all states of the planet."
The participants in the joint session also offered their heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by terrorist attacks.
