DPR reports 16 truce violations by Ukrainian army

DONETSK. Nov 20 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army has committed 16 violations of the truce in Donbas in the past 24 hours: more than 100 mines and shells have been fired on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, senior official of the DPR Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin told reporters on Friday.

"Tensions lingered in the DPR. The Ukrainian army breached the truce 16 times. Mykhailivka, Holmivskyi, Ozeryanivka, Gagarino, Sakhanka, Staromykhailivka, Zalizna Balka and Oleksandrivka came under attack from infantry combat vehicles, armored personnel carriers and 82mm and 120mm mortars. Over 100 mines and shells were fired on the territory," Basurin said.

DPR intelligence has observed concentration of Ukrainian army weapons near the contact line, he said. "Two Grad launchers, 12 tanks and five self-propelled artillery systems have arrived in Dzerzhinsk, ten tanks and ten self-propelled artillery systems have come to Kostiantynivka, and three tanks, eight Grad launchers and four self-propelled artillery systems have been moved to Novomykhailivka," Basurin said.
