DPR militia accuses Kyiv of shelling town near Donetsk airport

DONETSK. Nov 20 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) militia has accused Kyiv of shelling the Donetsk airport area.

"An automatic grenade launcher is bombing the town of Zhabunky from the Ukrainian positions," a militia representative told reporters.

Zhabunky is situated in direct proximity to Donetsk airport.

Earlier on Friday, Kyiv accused the militia of shelling the suburbs of Pavlopil and Shyrokyne by use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

The fire conducted by the DPR militia aims to provoke special operation forces to return it, says a report published on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian army operation press center.
