Basurin says Donetsk airport comes under mortar fire

DONETSK. Dec 2 (Interfax) - The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said the ceasefire regime has been violated on 12 occasions over the past day.

"The ceasefire regime has been breached on 12 occasions in the DPR over the past day. Mykhailivka, Zaitseve, Zheleznaya Balka, the Hluboka mine in Horlivka, Spartak, Zhabycheve and Donetsk airport have been shelled by armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers and mortars. More than 20 shells have been fired on the territory over the past day. Five projectiles were fired from a tank, a serviceman was wounded," senior official of the DPR Defense Ministry Eduard Basurin told reporters on Wednesday.

DPR reconnaissance continues recording the movement of military hardware by the Ukrainian military, Basurin said.
