MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and Political Director at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Simon Gass discussed preparations for starting the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCOPA) on the Iranian nuclear program, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.

"Preparations for starting the full-format implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on settling the situation surrounding the Iranian nuclear program have been discussed," the ministry said in a statement on its website.

"The parties acknowledged similarity of approaches toward the subject, noting that Moscow and London are guided by the need to make the JCPOA's transition to a phase of practical implementation as soon as possible and intend to take the necessary measures for this," it said.
