MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Moscow is not supplying weapons to Iraqi Kurds directly but is doing this only through the Iraqi authorities, the Russian embassy to Iraq says.
"Nothing has changed. Russia is supplying weapons to Iraqi Kurds only through the Baghdad authorities," Russian Ambassador to Iraq Ilya Morgunov told Interfax on Thursday when asked to comment on media reports alleging that Russia has started direct shipments of weapons to Iraqi Kurds.
