Essential disagreements remain within Syria support group on lists of terrorists, opposition - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Disagreements on lists of terrorist organizations and Syrian opposition groups within the International Syria Support Group are essential, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

"To our very deep regret, as we understand from various contacts at different levels, essential disagreements still remain in place. We have been assured that everything is being done to bring the coalition participants' positions closer together, but disagreements remain in place at the moment," Zakharova said at a news briefing in Moscow on Thursday.

The members of the Vienna format of the International Syria Support Group have agreed to draw up a list of those who should be treated as terrorists and a list of Syrian opposition groups by the next meeting.
