MOSCOW. Dec 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Aerospace Forces have received another Tupolev Tu-95MS strategic missile carrier in Zhukovsky, the Moscow region, the United Aircraft Corporation said.
"More than 10 aircraft have been handed over from the start of upgrading works to the Russian Defense Ministry," the United Aircraft Corporation press service said in a statement received by Interfax-AVN on Monday.
Specialists of the Tupolev Company have upgraded the Tu-95 aircraft as part of the state contract.
"The radio-electronic equipment was replaced on board the aircraft that allows making the designated application of the aviation system more efficient and will considerably extend its service life," the press release said.
