Talks with Kerry substantive, focused on advancement of Syria peace process in context of fight against terror - Lavrov

MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - Talks with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in Moscow were concrete and substantive, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

"Talks both this morning and this afternoon were concrete, substantive, focusing on steps to advance the Syria peace process and step up the fight against terrorism - ISIL [a terror organization banned in Russia], Jabhat an-Nusra," he told reporters after Kerry's talks with the Russian president.
