Moscow not going to impose sanctions on Ukraine - Putin

MOSCOW. Dec 17 (Interfax) - Russia has no plans to impose sanctions on Ukraine, but it will only switch to the most favored nation treatment regime in trade, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

"We are not going to introduce any sanctions whatsoever against Ukraine. I want everyone to hear this. We will simply switch to the most favored nation treatment regime in trade," Putin said at his annual press conference in Moscow on Thursday.
