Kremlin accuses Kyiv of non-fulfillment of Minsk agreements

MOSCOW. Dec 21 (Interfax) - Kyiv is not fulfilling the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the conflict in southeastern Ukraine, Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov said.

"We can now say again with great regrets that no headway has been made. We can state that the situation with the implementation of the Minsk agreements in this situation can only be taken out of the deadlock, where it is now, by Kyiv," Peskov said.

"There is no room for any interpretations here. Everything is stated on paper in black and white. Kyiv is not fulfilling the Minsk agreements," he said.

"This issue has been on the agenda of the contacts between Russian officials, including the president, and international colleagues, more than once. They were U.S. representatives and representatives of European countries. It was pointed out and we are calling on our partners to use all possible instruments to influence Kyiv to cause it to adhere to the idea of fulfilling its obligations," Peskov said.
