DONETSK. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Six people have been killed in the hostilities in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic over the past week, the office of the DPR ombudsperson has told reporters.
"Six people, among them four DPR servicemen, one local man and a child, were taken to the hospital in the period from February 6 to 12. Also, six people were killed in the previous week, including three servicemen, a local woman, and two people, whose bodies were brought to Donetsk from an explosion site near the Staromykhailivka checkpoint," it said.
Five people disappeared last week, the office said.
"Over the past week, the ombudsperson's office employees registered five statements regarding persons missing and detained by the Ukrainian side. Two of the four civilians were detained by the Ukrainian side, and the other two disappeared. One serviceman was detained by the Ukrainian side," he said.
