Fifth-generation fighter T-50 to have brand-new data control system

MOSCOW. March 2 (Interfax-AVN) - The Sukhoi Design Bureau has developed a brand-new data control system for the fifth-generation fighter T-50; the system will be put into service this year, a bureau representative said during a visit of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to Sukhoi on Wednesday.

"We have designed a multi-processor computer, a domestic operating system," the Sukhoi representative said.

In his words, the new data control system will be incorporated in fifth-generation fighters in 2016 and in drones in 2017.

The system may also be used in Sukhoi Su-35 fighters, including those planned to be supplied to China, he said.
