MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Washington works closely with Moscow in order to stop violations of the ceasefire in Syria, U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Tefft said.
The regime of cessation of hostilities established with the assistance from International Syria Support Group, has been more or less observed for five days now, he said. The U.S. is concerned over reports of its violations, he added. Tefft wrote on the Facebook page of the U.S. Embassy in response to the questions posted by followers that the U.S. is working with the Russian side in order to put an end to all such violations,
The U.S. has no illusions with regard to how difficult it is to stop violence in Syria, but makes everything possible in order to improve the situation in Syria for the country's residents, Tefft said.
