MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry says another 18 commanders of moderate opposition units in Syria intend to stop military action on the territory of the republic.
"Request lists on the cessation of hostilities have been received from 18 commanders of moderate opposition units that are active in the Daraa province, as a result of which the ceasefire regime expanded to another nine areas of the city of Daraa," the center for the reconciliation of the parties in conflict on the territory of Syria said in an information bulletin posted on the Russian Defense Ministry website on Thursday.
