MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - Mikhail Bogdanov, Russian presidential special envoy on the Middle East and the African countries and deputy foreign minister of Russia, has met with U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Tefft in Moscow at his request, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday evening.
"The meeting participants had a detailed exchange of opinions on the entire range of issues relating to Syrian settlement with an emphasis on the effectiveness of coordination of efforts to control ceasefire observance in Syria in accordance with the Russian-U.S. agreements outlined in Resolution 2268 of the UN Security Council, and also assistance in the establishment of a steady negotiation process under the aegis ofp the UN in Geneva on the basis of Resolution 2254 of the UN Security Council," a report posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry website says.
