MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed a settlement process in Syria, the situation surrounding North Korea, and steps toward stabilizing the global oil market with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council on Friday, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"The meeting involved an exchange of opinions on the continuing ceasefire agreement in Syria," Peskov said.
"The extremely tense situation surrounding the DPRK was also touched upon," he said.
"In addition, the participants continued discussing steps toward stabilizing the oil market both inside the country and with foreign partners," Peskov said.
