Russian, Chinese foreign ministers to discuss Syria, Korean Peninsula situation on March 11 - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Russia at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"In the course of their negotiations due on March 11, the heads of the two foreign ministries will confer on a broad range of topical bilateral and global issues with an emphasis on key matters of Russia-China collaboration in global affairs, in particular, within the framework of leading multilateral formats," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.

"They will exchange opinions on pressing issues, including the situation around the Korean Peninsula and efforts towards settling the Syria crisis," the ministry said in a report published on its website.
