HMEIMIM (Syria). March 28 (Interfax) - Three attack helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces - two Mil Mi-24 and one Mil Mi-35 - have departed from the Hmeimim airbase in Syria on board an Antonov An-124 Ruslan heavy-lift military transport aircraft, which will bring them to their bases, an Interfax correspondent has reported from the ground.
The aircraft have departed for Russia on the orders from President Vladimir Putin to withdraw the main part of the Russian force from the Hmeimim airbase.
